December 2019 TBR

December is going to be a wild ride, I expect. My son will be coming home for winter break. I will be going back to work after 6 weeks off. I will be ringing bells in the church cantata. My dancers will be performing on Christmas Eve, as usual. Throw in preparing for Christmas and it's a bit chaotic. On top of that, there are 3 Readathons I want to participate in. I'll finalize those TBRs later. This is just the books I'm looking at finishing for a general TBR.

Christmas Blizzard

A Christmas Blizzard by Garrison Keillor - This is the book club book for December. Considering how awful Christmas books can be, I'm pretty excited about this one.

Mockingbird

The Mockingbird Next Door: Life with Harper Lee by Marja Mills - There is some controversy surrounding this book in that the author moved to Lee's town with the idea of writing this book in mind. Somewhat disengenuous. This book is the next one on my TBR, meaning it's the book that has been on the list the longest.

Starless Sea

The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern - This is on this list because this book has the potential to beome a "mashed potatoes" book. Just do it, Adrienne.

This is all I'm going to put on here for now as there are a zillion books to be read for the three readathons. I want to have goals I have an ice cube's chance in hell of meeting.
