Friday Reads 12/6/19
A weekend! I know I haven't been at work, but there have been medical appointments every day this week. Sometimes more than one! Not that this weekend is particularly restful. There are 2 four-hour bell rehearsals for the choir cantata. One on Saturday and one on Sunday. But that's pretty much it, besides the usual chores. So I might find time to read!
Snowflake, AZ by Marcus Sedgwick - This is a YA cli-fi book about a tiny little place settled by people suffering from some kind of illness caused by pollutants and electronics. I think. I've only read 45 pages.
Pride and Prejudice and Mistletoe by Melissa De La Cruz - This is a gender-swapped, current day, Pride and Prejudice re-telling. Darcy Fitzwilliam is a high-powered stock market broker called home to Ohio when he mother has a heart attack. She hasn't been there in 8 years. That's as far as I've got so far.
Christmas at Thompson Hall by Anthony Trollope - I'd like to read this little thing this weekend also. It's just Christmas short stories.
