She's got the books that kill.

Goodreads Update December 2019

Last update of the decade! Let's see what I've added to my TBR this month.

Outer Order

Outer Order, Inner Calm: Declutter and Organize to Make More Room for Happiness by Gretchen Rubin - I don't know how Rubin published a book this year, and I didn't know about it. My outer disorder is pretty overwhelming, so I feel like this book might be depressing to me, but I do love her books!

Red, White, Blue

Red, White, & Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston - I ordered this from Book of the Month. It takes place in an alternate America where the President is a Hispanic woman from Texas. Her son is a teenager and has a bit of a falling out with the Prince Royal of England. Both countries' PR teams make them pretend to like each other to avoid an international incident and they end up falling in love.

Will My Cat

Will My Cat Eat My Eyeballs? Big Questions From Tiny Mortals About Death by Caitlin Doughty - Doughty is a mortician, so she knows things. These are exactly what it says on the tin, questions she's been asked by children about death. And she answers them, because honestly, we all want to know.

Pumpkinheads

Pumpkinheads by Rainbow Rowell - This is a graphic novel about two kids in their senior year of high school. They work at this pumpkin patch every year and this is their last year. The book is about them living their best lives in their last year of working together. I've heard it's pretty adorable. Who can't do with some more adorable in their lives?

That's it! I was remarkably restrained this month! I think it's because I didn't listen to very many podcasts. I get a lot of book recommendations from my book podcasts. Since I wasn't driving a ton, I didn't listen to many. What I'm really saying is, now that I'm back at work, prepare for the onslaught.
