Friday Reads 1/3/20

First Friday Reads of 2020! I wish I had better things to say.

I haven't read a thing since Monday. Tuesday I had to work, and then it was our New Year's Eve party. Wednesday, I didn't even get out of bed before I sustained a corneal abrasion which put the kibbosh in any reading I had planned. It's slowly healing, but it's still difficult to read. Maybe tomorrow. Anyway, here are my new plans.

MI5

MI5 and Me: A Coronet Among the Spooks by Charlotte Bingham - I thought this was a pretty old book, but it just came out in 2018. It's about the author's job in the 50's for Britain's secret service, MI5. Her aristocrat father also worked for the service and they entertained many famous celebrities who turned out to also be spies. This is a short book and it should read super quick.

Starless Sea

The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern - I was going to try to finish this by this Sunday, but I think that's not going to happen now. The new plan is to work on this after I finish each of the books I'm planning to read each week. It will take a long time to read, but I'm enjoying it, so I want to keep going.

American Royals

American Royals by Katharine McGee - It's really time to finish this book. I am ready to find out what is going to happen with the American ruling family.

Guinevere Deception

The Guinevere Deception by Kiersten White - Same with this one. It's time to just get this one done. The clash between Guinevere and whatever witch is out to get Arthur promises to be epic.

Do you have big reading plans?
