Last 10 Additions to My Bookshelf

Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is The Ten Most Recent Additions to My Bookshelf. This is good timing because I just got some books for Christmas.

Pride and Prejudice and Puzzles

Pride and Prejudice & Puzzles: Ingenious Riddles and Conundrums From the Novels of Jane Austen by Richard Wolfrik Galland - My hubby gave me this for Christmas. I've only had a chance to flip through it, but it has the word puzzles from Emma that she horribly misconstrues, etc.

Hot Dudes

Hot Dudes Reading by Hot Dudes Reading - Hot Dudes Reading is an instagram account that posts surreptitiously taken photos of men reading in public with hilarious comments that are frankly a little creepy and a lot steamy. This has been on my wishlist for years. Nothing makes a guy hotter than an open book. This was another gift from my hubby.

At Home with J.A.

At Home with Jane Austen by Kim Wilson - Here's another book that had been on my wishlist for a very long time. This book is about all the places Jane Austen called home during her life. With pictures. My mother gave me this for Christmas.

Brontes

The Bronte Collection by Anne Bronte, Charlotte Bronte, and Emily Bronte - This doesn't contain every single Bronte book, but it has the important ones. It's a beautiful set. Much nicer books than the cheap paperbacks I had of all of these except Jane Eyre. This was another gift from my mother.

Tightrope

Tightrope: Americans Reaching for Hope by Nicholas D. Kristoff and Sheryl WuDunn - This is a husband and wife writing team. This is about one of my favorite subjects: blue collar jobs disappearing in small town America and how it's affecting the people. I bought this one from Book of the Month.

So there you have it! New books for me!
