Library Update January 2020

I feel like the end of the reading year for my award group has sparked a flurry of activity on my library account, but I'm not sure there is much of that currently reflected. Let's see.

Currently Checked Out

My Love Story! Vol. 1-5 by Aruko Kazune Kawahara - I like to have these little romance manga books around to read when I get behind on my reading challenge. I have the first 5 of this series currently checked out.

Horimiya Vol. 4-5 by Hero - I've read the first 3 in the series. Then I had to stop to wait for the 4th one to come in. Now I just need to go on and finish it.

Book Love by Debbie Tung - I require a copy of this to keep on my shelf. It is just one-page cartoons about the author's obsession with books. It's so relatable. I sent a picture of one page to my husband. He replied, "It you." It me indeed.

The Lady Rogue by Jenn Bennett - Look at that cover! I need to read this for my reading group. It's one of the last ones to get to before our last meeting. Then I get to start in on all the 2020 ones that have shown up at my door. This one is about a girl whose father has gone missing in Dracula country.

The Librarian's Guide to Homelessness by Ryan J. Dowd - This came in as I was typing this post. I can't go to the class this author is teaching here in Tulsa tomorrow, so I ordered a copy of his book. Homelessness is a think I see every day. It's nice to have a resource directed specifically at my position.

I currently have no books on hold! Can you believe it? This last one just turned up, so I am holdless. I'm sure that won't last long.
