Friday Reads 1/24/20

Well, I was planning a long weekend of reading, but my time keeps getting filled up. I booked a game day with my assistant manager on Saturday and I have to ring bells in church Sunday morning. Not that I would have gotten much reading done Sunday morning anyway, let's be real, but I usually nap after a bell ringing session. But when I do read, here's what's on my plate:

With the Fire on High

With the Fire on High by Elizabeth Acevedo - I still haven't started this one from last week. I'm hoping it moves quickly.

Lady Rogue

The Lady Rogue by Jenn Bennett - This is about a girl who is helping her ex find her father who disappeared while looking for Vlad the Impaler's ring. Only Vlad is also looking for it, and he is not a guy you want to go up against.

Sorry for Your Loss

Sorry For Your Loss by Jessie Ann Foley - This is about a kid who is dealing with the death of the older brother who was the one person who motivated him to do anything. Also, he gets into photography.

music of what happens

The Music of What Happens by Bill Konigsberg - Gay romance, as far as I can tell. It's supposed to be good, but the Goodreads summary doesn't make it sound interesting. This is the lowest priority of all the ones I have to read.

After this list, I am done with 2019 book group reading! Woo hoo! Which is good because the 2020 books have been rolling in all week. I have way less time than I thought I did to read books. My evenings and weekends fill up super quick and I just can't fit it all in!
