Slightly Distraught

I finished all of this week's reading, so I decided to get the books together to get me through the end of the month. I looked at my bookshelf and didn't see Things to Do When You're Goth In the Country. Well, that's not entirely unexpected. Onl half of my books are visible from the front of the shelf because they are double-layered. So, I began pulling off the books at the front; shelf by shelf, stack by stack. I didn't find it.

Huh, that's weird. It's pretty small. I could have missed it. Sigh. Guess I'll do it again. I pulled each book off and looked at the books behind. I carefully checked each book. Still no luck.

I've been here before. I put that book about ghosts at the Virginia State Building on my TBR a couple of times before I found it on my shelf. I guess it's time to reorganize these shelves again, since that's what I had to do last time.

On the other hand, I already divvied up my reading for the next two weeks without it. But now I'm really annoyed that I misplaced it. I keep asking myself if I took it out and left it in a hotel somewhere? Or put it somewhere else and forgot? This is so frustrating!!!
