Friday Reads 10/2/20

It's the first Friday in October!!! Here's hoping the ragweed finally blows away and I can begin to feel like a human again. Ugh!

Since it is October, I have begun my spooky reads!

The Left-Handed Booksellers of London by Garth Nix - Nix is a popular author in YA and middle grade fantasy, but I've never read one of his books. I started this one the other day. So far, it's very good. It's set in 1983 in London and our main character, Susan, has got herself mixed up with some dark beings.

Get a Life, Chle Brown by Talia Hibbert - I might pick this up next. I want to reward myself for reading an award nominee book by reading something I'm really looking forward to. This is a romance book, so pretty light and fluffy and fun.

Wicked as You Wish by Rin Chupeco - This is the one with the jerkwad firebird. It's also an award nominee, so that's a good thing. I'm trying to meet my responsibilities. It's hard, right now.

That's what might be on my plate this week. Maybe. I'm not making any commitments, though.
