Cozy Autumn Book Tag

I found a new book tag! I have no idea where it came from, but here it is.

What book always reminds you of Autumn? - I think this would be Persuasion by Jane Austen. It has a very autumnal, elegiac tone.

What is you favorite autumnal book cover? - Probably The Immortalists by Chloe Benjamin

What is you favorits autumnal drink? - Maybe hot apple cider? There aren't a lot of drinks that I save for only Autumn. Pumpkin Spice Latte is a big deal at Starbucks, but I don't care about it much. They do have a Salted Caramel Latte in Fall that I like.

Do you prefer to read late at night or early in the morning? - Definitely late at night. I'm not a morning person and I tend to fall back to sleep if I read just after waking up.

What's you favorite spooky read? - Currently, it's probably The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield, which isn't even really scary, but it has a vibe. If you're looking for real spook or horror, it would be The Interview With the Vampire by Anne Rice.

What is your ultimate comfort read? - Hmmm. I have a few? The Pleasures of Reading in an Age of Distraction by Alan Jacobs is one. Pride and Prejudice is another.

What is your favorite autumnal snack? - Caramel apples? So messy, but so good. Candy corn? Love that stuff. Chex Mix. Yum!

What is your favorite autumnal candle to burn? - We get most of our candles from Frostbeard Studios. My faves for autumn are the bookstore ones, anything with cinnamon/apple, and one called Winter is Coming. I also have something that smells like a campfire.

When you're not reading, what's your favorite autumnal activity? I don't really do much that requires a certain season, but I do like to sit on my back patio in Autumn when it's not too hot and the mosquitos are dead, which would be Fall.

What is on your Autumn reading list? - Well, all the spooky books for October. Moving into November, I hope to read some fantasy which is more of a Fall/Winter genre for me. We'll see. I can't even put a TBR together and stick to it for a week, so there's no telling what I'll read.

You're turn. What are your answers to these questions??
