Friday Reads 11/06/2020

Friday! What a year this week has been. But today it's Friday, we're bound to have an election result, and it's my birthday!!

Here's what I plan to be reading:

Dodge City by Tom Clavin - I need to read a Western for the PopSugar challenge and I'm going to say this counts. It's nonfiction. I don't know if nonfiction counts as a western, but this is where we are right now. It's 2020 and if I say it's a Western, it's a Western.

They Went Left by Monica Hesse - I've heard this is great. It's set in Germany post WWII. I'm sure it will be heartbreaking and thoroughly destroy me. Good times.

Sheets by Brenna Thummler - This is a graphic novel about a girl who helps run her family's laundromat and a ghost boy who lives there. Looks cute.

Swamp Thing: Twin Branches by Maggie Stiefvater - This came in yesterday's mail. It's a graphic novel so it will be fast, and I need to boost my numbers. This promises to be a quick read and it's an award nominee, so kill two birds with one stone.

Also, as this will be the week after my birthday, I expect I will have got some more books. Maybe I can squeeze one of those into my list also.
