Friday Reads 12/18/2020
Christmas (and enhanced reading time) is only a week away! I think I've got all my gifts bought. I'm ready. But before we get to that, I have a busy week ahead of me. Reading plans for this busy week include but are not limited to:
White Fragility by Robin Diangelo - This is the last month for the book discussion of this at work. I'm finally going to finish this one up!
The Phantom of Fifth Avenue by Meryl Gordon - I'm just about halfway through this one. Some days I can read 50 pages, and other days I'm doing good to get 10. It is still fascinating.
Dear Justyce by Nic Stone - I have 3 award nominees I definitely need to read before the next committee meeting and 3 weeks to do it. Here is this week's book. I have the audiobook and the paper book from the library, so I think I can knock it out quickly.
The Vanishing Half by Brit Bennett - This is the last book on my TBR. Well, the one I put on the list last. I was waiting for the announcement of this year's winners before I picked one. It's not very long, so here's hoping it goes quickly.
Empire of the Summer Moon by S. C. Gwynne - I should probably at least start this one this week. I still have a bunch of books on my TBR to read, so I better get a move on. This is the longest/most dense, so I should start it first.
Alright, that's my rather ambitious TBR for this week. What would you like to tackle soon?
