Friday Reads 2/26/21
I almost forgot to post today! I don't even know what day it is anymore.
I am at a crossroads. I have a few unfinished books on my table that I would still like to finish, but they won't be finished by the end of February. I have to decide if I should move them to my March TBR or just put them back on the shelf. I think I might put Reader I Married Him back on the shelf, but leave A Fatal Grace out and move it to my March TBR. I think I can finish The Fuck It Diet this weekend, so that's fine. Yeah, that's the ticket.
Aside from that, here's what I am looking at reading for the next week:
What We Talk About When We Talk about Books by Leah Price - I forgot I had this! Oops! I definitely want to finish this.
When You Look Like Us by Pamela N. Harris - I've had this out from the library for several weeks, now, so I feel like I should put this near the top of the list.
Solutions and Other Problems by Allie Brosh - This will be a quick, fun, read to help me get back up to my reading goal.
Do you see what ISN'T on this list??? Les Miserables!!! I finally finished it! It was very good. I am going to read it again after I'm out of the award reading committee and I plan to annotate it. It was that good.
I have also decided that instead of reading a certain number of pages per day, I'm going to go for an hour of reading per day. Maybe 2 hours on days I'm off work. We'll see if that relieves some of the reading pressure. It doesn't matter what I read, as long as I read for an hour. I have several book magazines I want to get to, so this will give me permission to read those.
Do you have a reading strategy? What do you think of my plan?
