Friday Reads 5/21/2021
Welp, it's Friday. This week has been chaos. Up and down and everything in between. I didn't get a whole lot read this week, and I don't have a ton of time to read this weekend. I do, however need some light, fluffy, content to distract me from the battles going on in my head.
The Awakening of Malcolm X by Iyasah Shabazz and Tiffany D. Jackson - This is decidedly not light and fluffy, but I think with about an hour of reading, I could wrap it up. Youtube was down for a couple of hours earlier this week and I got up to about 74%.
The House in the Cerulean Sea by T J Klune - I think this is the right time for this book. Everything I've heard about it is that it's basically like a hug in book form.
Perfect on Paper by Sophie Gonzales - The last Gonzales book I read was a nice fluffy romance, and I'm hoping this has similar vibes. It's an award nominee and I need to read something. I'm choosing to love myself and read light.
I think that will about do it. I'm going to get through this day now.
