Finally Going to Read
Today's Top 5 Wednesday topic is Books I'm Finally Going to Read! Since January of 2017, my reading has not been my own. 2 years of grad school and then 3 years on the award reading committee has meant my book choices were limited by someone else. Beginning February 7, all that will be over. I will finally have control over what I read! So here are some of the books I am looking forward to finally getting to!

Empire of the Vampire by Jay Kristoff - I got this from the library in September and managed to read about half before I had to turn it back in. I got a copy on my birthday and it has been sitting on my shelf, face out, waiting for me to come back to it. Sometimes I pet it when I walk by.

And we're back to my book flight stack from September that I still haven't read. Am I cheating by making these my list? Absolutely. But are they definitely books I am prioritizing to read when my reading life is my own? Also yes. So there you go. Books I will finally read.
