Friday Reads 1/7/22
I forgot to post during yesterday's madness, so you get two posts today! Here are the books I'm hoping to read this week.

Revolution in Our Time: The Black Panther Party's Promise to the People by Kekla Magoon - So far this is really fantastic. I hope it's on our award list. If not, I'm going to ask for it to be added. Lots of pictures and really good information.

You'd Be Home Now by Kathleen Glasgow - This one is on its way to me in the library mails. It's a drug addiction book, and shows how one person's addiction affects so many other people as well.
![Six Crimson Cranes](https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1603387427l/53457092._SY475_.jpg)
Six Crimson Cranes by Elizabeth Lim - This is due back at the library on Tuesday and I haven't even started it, yet. Wish me luck.
We have a meeting of the award committee on Monday. I'd like to have a bunch of this read by then, but I have to choreograph a dance and then teach it this weekend, sooo we'll see how that goes.
