Friday Reads 5/13/22
As you can expect, my reading is... disordered this week. I get in a mood to read something and I devour a ton of that kind of thing, and then suddenly, I don't want to read that anymore. So here we are doing some weird thing. Try to keep up.
Til Death Do Us Tart by Ellie Alexander - This is still next to my bed. Some nights I'll read a chapter or two before I go to bed. I'm so not far into it that there isn't even a mystery yet. There are several bad guys, but so far no one has died.
The Finders by Jeffrey B. Burton - I sat down and flew through 25% of this one the other night. It's about a guy who trains cadaver dogs and his one golden retriever who appears to be a prodigy. I got super freaked out because there's a bad guy character called Everyman who has one of those faces you don't remember. He's just a shadow. No one knows he exists and he's after our dog trainer. He creepy me out hardcore. I haven't picked it up since.
Libertie by Kaitlyn Greenidge - Book club is next Friday, so I figure it's about time to start this one. First I have to find it. I think it's still in my work bag. I hope it's still in my work bag because I haven't seen it anywhere else.
I have a couple more mysteries checked out from the library, but I'm not really feeling that anymore. I'm not sure what I DO feel like though. Romance? Could do. Maybe some non-fiction? Could do that too. I don't know. I'll let you know if I work it out.
