May 2023 Library Update

I'm too lazy to do a full library update. The long list of Sequoyah books on my checked out list hasn't changed much, so I'm just going to talk about what is new on the checked out list and what's on the hold list. I'm skipping 8 Sequoyah books I have and 2 books for my kid. That leaves us with:

Checked Out

Cat + Gamer Vols 1 and 2 by Wataru Nadatani - This is a very cute Japanese comic about an office worker lady who runs home from work every day to play video games. On an impulse, she accepts a kitten the security guard at the office found in the parking lot. She's never had a pet before and relies on the clerk at the pet shop to figure out how to care for him. The cat is super cute. This is just a fun little fluff series, but I'm mad that the next one doesn't come out until October.

On Hold

Love, Pamela by Pamela Anderson - I'm still waiting for this one. Should be a just a few more weeks. I'm number 5 on hold and we have 4 copies. I refuse to pay hardcover price for this book. If it's good, I'll buy a paperback copy later. Not because I don't love Pammy, but because I don't love memoirs.

And that's it! I'm going to have to find more books to put on hold! Hmmm.
