Goodreads Update Pt. 1 April
I didn't think I had added much to my TBR in the last couple of weeks, but it looks like I did. Oops. Grab a snack and settle in.

A Crane Among Wolves by June Hur - I have no idea what this is about but I love June Hur, so I added it. It comes out May 14.

Sociopath by Patric Gagne, PhD. - This is a memoir by a woman who is a diagnosed sociopath. She has known since she was a child that she didn't feel things the way the other kids did. I'm excited to read this. I wonder if she is a sociopath because her parents named a girl Patric.

Rebel Girl: My Life as a Feminist Punk by Kathleen Hanna - Hanna was the lead singer in a couple of girl punk bands in the 90s. Now she's married to one of the Beastie Boys.

Doc by Mary Doria Russell - I had this on my TBR like 15 years ago. I never got to it, and I took it off. Now I've run across it again in the middle of my Tombstone era, so I added it back on. Mostly I added it because I ran into the next book, but it's the sequel to this one.

Epitaph by Mary Doria Russell - This is the book that came across my vision and caught my attention because of the O.K. Corral. I like to read series in order, so I added Doc to my list first.

Shady Hollow by Juneau Black - This is a cozy fantasy mystery. All the characters are animals. I heard about it on a podcast and thought it sounded like fun.

The Art Thief: A True Story of Love, Crime, and a Dangerous Obsession by Michael Finkel - I really liked Finkel's other book, The Stranger In the Woods. I don't care about art theft, but I like his writing, so I'll check it out.

The Cemetery of Untold Stories by Julia Alvarez - This is about a writer who buries her unfinished manuscripts in a little cemetery. In the cemetery the character live out their untold lives and talk to the groundskeeper who listens to their stories. This sounds amazing.

Knife: Meditations After An Attempted Murder by Salman Rushdie - I expect this to be fascinating. Rushdie has had a Fatwa on him since the early 90s and he nearly was killed in 2022. He was stabbed multiple times.

Silver Under Nightfall by Rin Chupeco - This is a vampire book. That's kind of all I know.

The God of Endings by Jacqueline Holland - A friend of mine is reading this and keeps sending me updates. I keep telling her to stop ruining it for me. It's another vampire book.

A Far Wilder Magic by Allison Saft - I love Allison Saft. So I will check this out even though I think the cover is ugly.

Slow Horses by Mick Herron - Anne Bogel recommended this to a reader on her podcast and it sounded interesting, so here it is. It's about disgraced MI5 agents in a bar in London who are determined to regain their reputations.

A Share In Death by Deborah Crombie - This was also recommended to that reader by Anne Bogel. This is the first in a long series.
Ok. That's everything. Whew!
