May Flowers

May Flowers

Last month we did an April Showers post, so of course, we need a May Flowers post this month. The flowers are indeed blooming here, in between getting blown away in the storms. I went through the books on my actual bookshelves to find 10 books with flowers on the covers. After I had about 20 books picked out, I went through and chose my ten favorite covers.

The Ensemble by Aja Gabel - This book is about a group of musicians. I haven't read it, so I don't know what these flowers have to do with anything. Maybe it just represents the four members of the ensemble?

The Damned by Renee Ahdieh - This is the second book in the series. The first one is also flowers. It has roses pouring out of a goblet. This series is about vampires.

Pride and Premeditation by Tirzah Price - I don't love the lime green color, but I do like the embroidery look of the flowers. Obviously, this is a take-off on Pride and Prejudice in which the Bennets own a private investigation business.

A Most Agreeable Murder by Julia Seales - This is a Regency cozy mystery, so of course it made the cut.

The Ten Thousand Doors of January by Alix E. Harrow - Look at those flowers! I don't know what they have to do with the doors, but I love this cover!

A Dawn of Onyx by Kate Golden - The cover is 90% of the reason I added this book. It's gorgeous!

The Magnolia Palace by Fiona Davis - I mostly like this cover because of the door. I love pictures of doors. But the pretty flowers around the edge don't hurt.

Starling House by Alix E. Harrow - Harrow's publishers clearly know what they're doing wiht her covers. I love the moon.

These Violent Delights by Chloe Gong - This cover is stunning. That's all.

**Buy Yourself the Fcking Lilies: And Other Rituals to Fix Your Life From Someone Who's Been There* by Tara Schuster - I saved this one for last, just because it makes me laugh.

So there you have it. 10 books with flowers on the cover. Can you think of any more?
