Friday Reads

Hello Friday! I'm happy to see this Friday since I am off work. I took the day off because I had dental work done this morning. It was done by 11:00 and here I am having the rest of the day to myself!

I feel like it's almost not necessary to post this because literally nothing has changed since last Friday and the Friday before that. But hopefully soon!

The Idiot by Fyodor Dostoevsky - We are 1/3 through this tome in book club. It's still entertaining. It doesn't take a lot of brain power like I expect some of our future reads will.

Empire of the Damned by Jay Kristoff - There is a good chance I will finish this today! Wouldn't that be amazing? I'm at the 88% mark. Less than 100 pages to go!

How to Take Smart Notes by Sonke Ahrens - I'm still picking my way through this one. Still haven't figured out the note-taking system. It just seems like a big mess.

The Four Tendencies by Gretchen Rubin - I haven't really been reading this, but I haven't put it aside officially, either. So here it remains. It is definitely on my radar, still.

It doesn't look like I'm making progress, but I am. I am actually still 1 book ahead of my goal on Goodreads. I'm well behind my other goals, but I'll take the win where I can get it.
