My Favorite Books in 10 Series
Today's Top Ten Tuesday topic is Favorite Books in 10 series. So basically take 10 series and pick your favorite book from the series. I am notoriously bad at reading series. So I set rules for this list. I had to have read at least 3 books in the series. Sometimes, that's all there are, but many times I just haven't read past the first one or two books.
In no particular order:
The Likeness The Dublin Murder Squad by Tana French - I loved the main character here. She was smart, funny, and a darn good cop.
Heir of Fire Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas - This is number 3 in the series and I think it really takes off in this one.
Heartstopper, Volume 4 Heartstopper by Alice Oseman - This whole series is just romantic, fluffy, fun, but this one went deep and tackled some big issues.
Jane Austen and the Stillroom Maid Jane Austen Mystery by Stephanie Barron - This is the fifth book in the series and it's when Jane meets Lord Harold Trowbridge.
Sizzling Sixteen Stephanie Plum by Janet Evanovich - It's no secret that I read each installment of this series as soon as it comes out. This one is where Evanovich really got cooking with the side characters. Like the guy with a pet alligator.
Giant Days, Volume 5 Giant Days by John Allison - This one takes place at the end of freshman year for these 4 girls at uni in England.
Quietly In Their Sleep Commissario Brunetti by Donna Leon - This one absolutely blew my socks off. Fun fact, the spine of my copy says Quietly In Their Sleeep.
Bite Me A Love Story by Christopher Moore - This book has my favorite character in all of fiction. She is a happy-go-lucky goth girl who bullies her gay best friend and the cops who are sniffing around the vampire couple she minions for. Abby Normal is her name. Making cops cry is her game.
The Cat Who Talked to Ghosts The Cat Who... by Lilian Jackson Braun - I love this whole series. It just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. Maybe it's just nostalgia because I read them in middle and high school. So good.
Twilight The Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer - I don't care what they say, I enjoyed this stupid thing. And the first book is the best one. They get progressively weirder as they go on.
Ok. There are my favorite books in 10 different series. This was a lot of work!
