Reading Update 4/8/2025

Remember how, a couple of months ago, I said, "Screw everything." and put a bunch of books on hold at the library? They all had long hold lists, so I knew they would come in at a later time. It would appear that now is that time. Since I only have each book for 2 weeks, I need to get serious about reading them. It won't be hurting my feelings too much to put Belgravia aside for a little while to get a bunch of library books read.

I did finish Millicent Quibb on Saturday, so that one made it back to the library on time. On Saturday, I got Compassion in the Court by the municipal court judge in Boston. Today, I got When the Moon Hits Your Eye by John Scalzi (Sci-Fi/Humor) and The Kennedy Girl by Julia Bryan Thomas. Then, this afternoon I got a message that The JFK Conspiracy book is ready. Add that to The Spellshop, and I have a LOT on my plate. Here's the plan. I'm going to take The Spellshop home with me to read tonight and tomorrow morning. The Compassion in the Court book will be my lunchtime read because it's pretty short. When I finish the Spellshop, I'll go to The Kennedy Girl because that is rather large. Then I will move to the John Scalzi. It's pretty short and the husbandface might want to read it first.

That's the plan, anyway.
