May 2025 Library Update

Remember last week when I said I was going to stop requesting things at my library. That didn't last very long. In my defense, it is just a Cat + Gamer book. I didn't know volume 7 was out already! Anyway, let's see what other damage I've done.

Kills Well With Others by Deanna Raybourn - This is due Saturday and I just started it yesterday. Yikes! We'll see if I can get it done.

Trejo: My Life of Crime, Redemption, and Hollywood by Danny Trejo - This one is still sitting in a bag on my dryer. I will get to it soon. Promise.

Cat + Gamer: Vol. 7 by Wataru Nadatani - I started this this morning and blew through 30 pages in 5 minutes. The cats were playing Hide and Seek. Adorable!!

ON HOLD

Carving Shadows Into Gold by Brigid Kemmerer - This one is still on back order and I'm not even mad about it because I haven't read the first one in the series, yet.

The Amalfi Curse by Sarah Penner - I feel like this one is taking a really long time to work through the list, but as of right now none of them are overdue. That in itself is a miracle, honestly. So I'll wait patiently-ish.

Hidden Libraries: The World's Most Unusual Book Depositories by D.C. Helmuth - Still waiting. I am pretty sure it's been a year now. I checked my account. It's been 6 months.

Southern Living 2024 Annual Recipes - Another one that's on back order. Do I care? Not really. I most likely can't make any of the recipes in this thing anyway.

So that's what my library account looks like. I'm slowly whittling down the checked out books list.
