Friday Reads 6/20/2025
Yesterday was a holiday, therefore, I have no idea what day it is. I'm told it's Friday, so I will post a Friday Reads.

Light From Uncommon Stars by Ryka Aoki - I finished Leviathan Wakes and spun the wheel for my next book. This is what I got. I'm not mad about it. It's set in our world (with some enhancements) and it's less than 400 pages.

Such Charming Liars by Karen M. McManus - I'm 30 pages in and I don't think I really know what's going on, yet. So far, it's told from the perspectives of two teenagers whose parents were married for one night during which the kids, preschoolers at the time, were wandering around Las Vegas together for 6 hours, unsupervised. They haven't seen each other since. I figure they will get together at some point. Oh, incidentally, Kat's "play grandmother" is a con artist, as is Liam's father.
And that's what's up. I remembered yesterday that I need to read the book from the 10 Oldest Books list for this month. I've still got 10 days. It's fine.
