Friday Reads on Saturday 9/27/2025

I was in a conference all day yesterday and didn't have time to post, so here we are on Saturday. Today has been a bit of a clusterfluff as well, so bear with me.

I have vastly narrowed down my currently reading list.

The Celebrants by Steven Rowley - I anticipate that I will be able to wrap this up this weekend. I'm 83% through it. There was a pretty good twist awhile back that I did not see coming, so that was nice. It's not a mystery, but a secret was revealed. I'm enjoying this. It's less funny than the Guncle books, but it's very good.

Twilight by Stephenie Meyer - I'm about halfway through this one. I forgot to bring it to work today to read during lunch, which turned out to be fine because I had to eat super fast because of the above mentioned fluffery that was happening. It's just like I remember it.

Brave New World by Aldous Huxley - Yay! for getting another book off my shelves! That being said, it's kind of horrific. I don't know what I thought this was about, but it wasn't this. Ew. I won't be getting it finished before September is over, but I don't think it will take too long to get through it.

There you have it. One print book, one audiobook, and one ebook. So demure. So restrained. Who is she?
