Reading In/Out 9/30/2025

I did finish a book this weekend, but I haven't started anything new, yet.

The Celebrants by Steven Rowley - I ended up really liking this. The characters are all almost exactly my age. Each one was equally annoying and fantastic. They are solidly GenXers which I can relate to. The end went off the rails in the best possible way. Very good.

I read a little more in Brave New World. I have no idea what is happening. People are riding around in space cars to go play Obstacle Golf, whatever that is. I'm lost. I just read one chapter that jumped around between three scenes every paragraph. It was all I could do to remember who was speaking and what was happening. So weird.

I maybe read 2 pages of Twilight this weekend. It was crazy busy. But I have one week to get it done for the Staff Bingo for Staff Development Day.

Tomorrow I will get the October Advanced Listening Copies of books being released and I will pick out my next audiobook. The October TBR went up last night so if I ever finish a physical book, I'll grab one of those.
