Goodreads Update October 2025

HOLY MOLY it's October 29. I'm not ready. Here are the 6 things I added to my Goodreads TBR in October.

What Souls Are Made Of by Tasha Suri - This is a retelling of Wuthering Heights that is set in the 1780s and both Heathcliff and Catherine are of Indian descent. Interesting twist.

The Thief by Jessica Brody & Joanne Rendell - This is a short story in a trilogy of which I have read the first book. It is Les Miserables set in space. The first book was a honker and the second one isn't any smaller. This one comes between them.

The Elixir by George Willson - The author lives across the street from me. His daughter is my kid' best friend since kindergarten. I didn't even know there was a 4th book, but I love the cover.

Adulthood is a Gift! by Sarah Andersen - This is a compendium of previously published comics, new comics, essays, and whatever else they could cram in here. I relate to this chick.

Everyone In this Bank Is a Thief by Benjamin Stevenson - This guy is a nut case and I love his books. He's forever breaking the 4th wall.

The CIA Book Club: The Secret Mission to Win the Cold War With Forbidden Literature by Charlie English - This is what happens when I read the New York Times Book Review. I think this sounds fascinating.

Ok. That's it I think. That's a pretty good list. I want to read them all right now.
