Friday Reads 11/28/25

Okie dokie smoky. It's Friday. It's time to plan my reading for the week.

Piranesi by Susanna Clarke - My plans changed and I had a block of unexpected reading time yesterday. I think I have about 50 pages of this left. Maybe less. If I try really hard, I can probably get this done today. The threads are starting to come together.

Sense & Suitability by Pepper Basham - I am about 65% through this on audio. What with all the driving to work I have to do this weekend, I will most likely finish this up also. I can see where it's going, but it will be interesting to see what route it takes to get there.

The Dangerous Love of a Rogue by Jane Lark - I'm planning to keep going in the Regency era romance vein. I'm downloading this to read after Sense & Suitability. I think it is a bit spicier, but hopefully it isn't ridiculous. We shall see.

As for a print book, I have no idea what I'll start. I should figure it out fast, though, because tomorrow I will be posting my December TBR!

I don't have a ton of reading time this weekend. I work Saturday and then we have game night. I have to do some chores Sunday morning and then I have to work all afternoon. That leads right into dance rehearsal. Monday I have to be up and at 'em and in Jenks at 10:30 in the morning for our first bell concert. That evening I have a nail appointment that was originally scheduled right in the middle of the concert. So maybe Monday afternoon if I am not running around doing chores. The next two weeks are actual chaos.
