Reading In/Out 12/9/25
I actually did more reading than I expected this weekend. Let's review.
OUT

The Dangerous Love of a Rogue by Jane Lark - This was pretty awful. The end was seriously unsatisfyling. Definitely not a happily ever after. The two main characters with no personality run off together and get caught by her dad and brother, so they have to marry. They get married and the rogue thinks he loves her, but he keeps stepping wrong and she thinks he used her. At the end, he's trying to convincer her of his love, but she's not really buying it. That's the end. Yeah, they're married, but it's not great. Not how a romance is supposed to end.
CONTINUING

Kind of Kin by Rilla Askew - I found some time Saturday night after work and I read about 75 pages! I read some more between playing at our church gig Sunday morning. So now I'm almost half way through. Hooray!
IN

Stolen In Death by J.D. Robb - This is the audiobook I went with after the stupid one with the boring people. I don't know if it's because it is following such a dud, or what, but I am really enjoying it. I started it Friday and I'm already 60% through it. I mean, I did have to drive 65 miles yesterday to get to the concert venue in Skiatook, so that definitely added to my listening time.
I will most likely finish the audiobook this week, but I haven't picked out a follow up listen.
