Reading In/Out

There really isn't any news on the reading front. I read some more in both books this weekend, but I didn't finish anything. I almost started a third book. I took it off the shelf and sat down with it, but then there was talking and I didn't even open it.

I am on page 89 of The 33 by Hector Tobar, which is about a quarter of the way through.

I am 79% of the way through May Contain Murder by Orlando Murrin. Depending on how much driving I do over the two-day Christmas break, I might finish it. It will get done this week, I'm sure.

The Wallflower Wager by Tessa Dare - Is this a full-stop romance book? Yes. I know. It's not my usual fare, but this is the third in a series and I've read the first 2. They are actually really funny. Also, it's from my Historical Fiction shelf which I wanted to be sure to read from, since I didn't finish anything during the month it was assigned. These read really quickly, so hopefully I can get it done by the end of the year.

Hearts in Circulation by Sarah Monzon - I think this will be my next audiobook. It's about a bookmobile librarian whose bus breaks down and gets caught in a landslide that traps her in a tiny town with a grumpy, possibly autistic, mechanic. I have the audiobook from LibroFM, so why not? It's the second in a series, but each book has a different main character, so I don't think it matters much what order you read them. If I like it, the library has the first one.

And that's it. Stay tuned this week and next for my monthly wind up posts and my yearly windup posts!
