Friday Reads on Saturday 1/17/26

I'm going to be so for real right now, nothing has changed since Tuesday. I am still trying to read the same 5 books with little to no reading time. I didn't read a single word yesterday. I didn't have internet at home for 3 days, so I did read about 50 pages of Red Rising on Thursday, but that got me caught up. Since I didn't read yesterday, I'm now behind again.

We are meant to go play board games this evening, which translates to no reading time. Tomorrow, I work from 12:30-5:00. I could read in the morning, but if I get out of bed in time, I will need to do my regular Sunday chores. In the evening I have dance.

Monday, I have an appointment at 11:00 and a hair appointment at 12:30. That appointment is usually about 3 hours long. Blue hair is time consuming. Monday evening will be my prime reading and finishing chores time.

I'm tired just thinnking about this schedule. It's supposed to be a 3-day weekend, but I work both Saturday and Sunday. Tuesday, I go back to work. Ugh.

Anyway, my focus is on Red Rising, whose book club meeting is Friday evening. I'm almost halfway through. Good thing I have Friday off.
