Reading In/Out

I actually did some reading this weekend! Who is she!? I didn't finish anything, but I did make progress.

Medicine River by Mary Annette Pember - I passed the 50% mark finally. I read about 70 pages this weekend! I have less than 100 pages to go. Goodreads says it has 304 pages, but the notes and stuff start on page 237, so it's not that long. I'm on page 167. The story has moved past her mother's experience and is now about how those experiences affected the author's life.

Random In Death by J.D. Robb - I usually go through these in 5 days. This one is taking a little longer. Less time driving I guess. Anyway, I'm 55% through it now. This one is about a guy who goes to places crowded with teens and injects a random girl with a drug cocktail to kill her in minutes. The third one goes awry. She lives. Now the police are closing in.

The Last Bookaneer by Matthew Pearl - So I keep telling myself I'll read a chapter of Medicine River and then read a chapter of this. Except I read a chapter of Medicine River and just keep going. So I haven't actually made any progress here at all. Once I get through the other one, I'll focus on this one. I swear.

And that's it. Nothing new started and nothing finished. Hoping that changes soon.
