March TBR

February is so short! These end of the month posts sneak up on me every year. It feels like there should be 5 more days of the month, but there are just 2!

Anyway, here is what I have on the docket for March.

The Last Bookaneer by Matthew Pearl - It seems unlikely that I will finish this before Sunday, so this will be the carryover from February. I have read a whopping 20 pages, but hopefully it's a little faster read than the nonfiction I just finished.

Payback in Death by J.D. Robb - There is every possibility that I will finish the current audiobook mystery I'm listening to before Sunday, so I'm just going to go ahead and put this one on the list for March. It's number 57 in the series. I started with number 62. Number 63 is due in September.

The Windsor Knot by S.J. Bennett - This is the March book club book. I have read it before and it's not terribly long. I expect it will make for a quick read. Again.

The Girls of Atomic City: The Untold Story of the Women Who Helped Win World War II by Denise Kiernan - This one is from my 10 Oldest Books list. The February pick from this list was fiction, so I switched it up with some nonfiction. When I finish The Last Bookaneer, I will have 5 fiction books left and 3 nonfiction books. I should probably read another fiction book, but I'm not going to. I'm ok with it being uneven. I was only going to count how many were left of each to justify reading a nonfiction next, but that didn't work out. Lemme try this on for size: the last two books I read from this list were fiction, so I'm now going to read nonfiction. That works. Carry on.

Fatal Remedies by Donna Leon - In my book journal for this year, I have a series tracker. I put down the title of each series I'm currently in the middle of with little boxes for each book currently available in the series. I put teeny heart stickers in the boxes of the books I've read in the series. I figure, I went to all the trouble to make that tracker, it might be nice to actually read something and put another sticker on it. This is the next unread book in the Commissario Brunetti series. I own it, so I might as well put it on the list.

I think that's all I'm going to plan for in March. I feel like it's going to be hella busy, and since I feel like I barely read anything in February, it will probably be worse in March.
