Friday Reads 2/27/2026

Friday. And man do I feel every minute of this week.

The Last Bookaneer by Matthew Pearl - I almost made it to 50 pages in this one yesterday. The pages turn pretty quickly and the font is large. Winning all the way around.

Random In Death by J.D. Robb - I will finish this one tomorrow if I don't finish it tonight. I am at the 90% mark.

Payback In Death by J.D. Robb - I will immediately start this one when I finish the last one.

Reading plans? Never met her. Tonight is Nerd Night, but Fridays are generally a wash for reading, anyway. Too busy. Tomorrow night we are scheduled for a game night, but our hostess has been having head and neck pain, so it might be canceled. Sunday, my dancers perform in 3 services. I should spend Sunday afternoon doing chores, but I will most likely nap. That's what I did last week when the bells rang. Monday I have 2 appointments. One is just an hour. The other one could be really long. When you are one of the best rheumatologists in town, you get really packed schedules. Then I have bell practice. I assume I will get reading time at the second appointment, at least.
