Friday Reads 4/10/2026
Hello there. I'm posting a little earlier than usual because my life has been so chaotic lately, that I have no idea what might happen today. Better get it done.

Three Bags Full by Leonie Swann - I've been reading a little bit of this at lunch every day this week. I'm currently about 70% through it. The way these humans are afraid of the sheep, even more than the sheep are afraid of the humans, is frying me. It's pretty funny.

Shadows in Death by J.D. Robb - This is really good. I love how she's switching up her formula. After at least 10 books, back to back, I've begun to identify a pattern. In each book, Dallas questions the meaning of some English idiom, she has a dream about her case wherein the victims speak to her, she chases a bad guy and/or has a fight, she takes at least one dig at the butler, and she makes a remark about her husband buying a country. This one is turning a few of those parts of the formula on their heads. Also, it's super creepy. The bad guy is really, really bad.

Naked in Death by J.D. Robb - I've only read a couple of chapters of this. I've been too tired lately to pick it up before bed. It's weird reading about Dallas seeing the man who is her husband later for the first time. She thinks he's a killer. I've read this before, but I don't remember anything at all.
I will pick something new after I finish Three Bags Full, but I'm not sure yet what it will be. I have numerous options.
