Friday Reads 8/20/2026

I'm not sure it's fair to even tell you I'm reading books. I'm not really. I might read 20 pages of Wisteria Society while dinner cooks, or I might not. I quit listening to Lady Tremaine and listened to a couple of podcasts. Then, I got tired of that and just listen to music in the car. I didn't even take my lunch book with me to lunch today. Just blah.

I'm not sure what the answer is, here. I want to read something else, but what? Everything on my shelves is calling to me, but also nothing. I fear I might be in a reading slump. This is sub-optimal.

All this angst boils down to I don't know what I'm reading this weekend. Or even IF I'm reading. I have plenty of time. Bells and dance Sunday evening and a singular nail appointment Monday morning. Let's hope something comes across my path that I can't wait to jump into.
